So. Back in June...

Suddenly the days are longer, the majority of my weekly thing at Pianos is taking place when it's still light out, the first huge heatwave is settling over the city, and I'm trying to figure out how to adjust my DJ selections for a more summertimey chilled-out vibe. As a result, this set was a bit schizo but (I think) had some nice bits and sounded okay overall. There were a few new song->song transitions that I found and would proceed to workshop over the ensuing weeks, some great songs that I'd never found the right moment to play out before (or since, actually), some old favorites, some new things, and lots of people listening and grooving. And also lots of margaritas.
